Wolves Presents 2025 Strategy to Scenic Rim Regional Council

We were pleased to have the opportunity to present the Wolves 2025 Strategy to the Scenic Rim Regional Council today. Ben & Leila met with Mayor Cr. Tom Sharpe, Cr. Amanda Hay, Cr. Stephen Moriarty and Shane Gillett to showcase the clubs’ vision for the continued development of Club Basketball on Tamborine Mountain and to highlight the increasing pressure we and other sporting clubs face due to the lack of available indoor facilities in our community.

Even with the support of the local primary and high schools, Tamborine Mountain Basketball Association is at capacity for what it can offer and the demand for our sport and local programs continue to grow.

We highlighted our support for the TMSA masterplan that includes a multi-court indoor facility benefiting many clubs on the mountain, whilst also providing a valuable disaster management asset to our community. We were pleased with Council’s in principle support for staged development and their interest in continuing to work collaboratively with the community, local businesses and TMSA on future funding applications.

It’s time for the Wolves to have a place to call home!
