We are thrilled to announce one of our own - Talia Biskaps U14G is making history by being one of the members of the first ever North Gold Coast Seahawks girls team to qualify for the national event Basketball Australia U14 Club Championships AND just the second Seahawks team ever to qualify for the chance to compete at this national level!!

This year, Talia's North Gold Coast Seahawks representative team competed to take out the bronze medal at state champs securing them the opportunity to compete in nationals competition this September in Willetton, Western Australia.

Wolves! This is an amazing opportunity for Talia, her family and Tamborine Mountain Basketball to support one of our own and we are calling on your support to donate any amount of financial support you can to help the team cover the estimated $30,000 to send the team to WA.

The North Gold Coast Seahawks are incredibly proud to announce that our Under 14 Girls team has qualified for the Basketball Australia U14 Club Championships, taking place this September in Willetton, Western Australia!

This is a historic moment for our club — the girls are not only the first Seahawks girls team to ever qualify for this prestigious national event, but just the second Seahawks team in our history to achieve the feat.

This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is a reward for their hard work, resilience, and team spirit — but the journey across the country comes with a significant financial challenge.

To send 10 athletes, 2 coaches, and a team manager to WA, the estimated cost is $30,000. That includes flights, accommodation, meals, transport, and other essential expenses.

We’re calling on the Seahawks community and beyond to help us make this dream a reality.
